Bartholomew Cariss

Bartholomew Cariss started his career at Angels The Costumiers, working for them for six years, learning the craft of being a costumier and gaining his extensive knowledge of period costume. 

For the next eleven years he worked in the film industry as Assistant Costume Designer learning on the job and working along side some of the best. His Assisting Credits include, The Two Faces Of January, The Theory of Everything, and the award winning TV Series The Night Manager. 

He was Costume Designer of three feature films last year including Churchill, My Name is Lenny, and this year he’s HOD of costume for a eight part drama series for the BBC and Netflix call The Forgivng Earth by writer director Hugo Blick. And most recently has just completed White Lines for Netflix coming out spring 2020.
